Louis Vuitton Escale en Alaska – A Masterpiece Of Haute Horlogerie

Pocket Watch | Minute Repeater | Métiers d’Art

Louis Vuitton continues its Escale Autour du Monde collection with the Escale en Alaska, the fourth pocket watch in the series and the most complex timepiece ever created by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton.

Inspired by Alaska’s Margerie Glacier beneath the Northern Lights, the pocket watch transforms the dial into a miniature Arctic landscape brought to life through nine automaton animations and 17 moving elements. A whale, orca, penguins and Louis Vuitton’s signature trunks create a captivating mechanical scene that reflects the Maison’s signature Art of Travel philosophy.

At its heart is the manual-winding LFT AU14.03 calibre, featuring 751 components, a minute repeater and a tourbillon. More than 500 hours were dedicated to assembling and finishing the movement, while the dial showcases over 300 hours of enamelling, 160 hours of hand engraving and a bezel set with 60 baguette-cut coloured sapphires.

Jaquet Droz Petite Heure Minute Golden Road – A Personal Journey In Time

Métiers d’Art | Topographical Dial | Unique Creation

Jaquet Droz explores the relationship between watchmaking, art and personal memories with the Petite Heure Minute Golden Road, a unique concept created in collaboration with the Supercar Owners Circle.

Inspired by the winding Alpine routes of Switzerland’s Oberalp and Furka Passes, the timepiece transforms a real landscape into a three-dimensional topographical dial. Hand engraving, cloisonné enamel and sculpted gold recreate valleys, mountain peaks and roads beneath a sapphire crystal, capturing the beauty of the Swiss landscape.

Moving beyond a single creation, the Golden Road introduces a personalised approach to haute horlogerie. Collectors can create their own interpretation based on meaningful journeys, whether a favourite road, sailing route, flight path or landscape that holds personal significance.
