The Rado True Square Open Heart Sparkling introduces a more expressive take on contemporary watchmaking, where exposed mechanics and diamond-set detailing come together in a confident, design-led statement.
A Dial That Reveals More Than Time
At the centre of the watch is its open heart dial, offering a view into the movement beneath. It goes beyond mere aesthetic. The skeletonised design draws attention to the rhythm of the mechanism, turning timekeeping into something more intimate and engaging.
Surrounding it, a diamond-powder-like surface catches the light with subtle intensity. Developed through an electro-forming process, the texture gives the dial depth while allowing key details such as the logo and minute track to rise in relief. Twelve diamond indices complete the composition, adding a measured sense of brilliance without overwhelming the design.
Ceramic Craft Meets Contemporary Form
The True Square collection has long been defined by its architectural case, and here it is executed in Rado’s signature high tech ceramic. Offered in polished white and plasma finishes, each variation brings a distinct character.
The white model leans softer, pairing its ceramic construction with rose gold toned hands and accents. The plasma version introduces a more metallic presence, contrasted by yellow gold toned details and a darker flange. Both remain lightweight and highly resistant to scratches, designed for comfort over extended wear.
Inside, the Rado calibre R734 automatic movement powers the watch with an 80 hour power reserve. Equipped with a Nivachron hairspring, it offers improved resistance to magnetic interference, reinforcing its reliability in everyday settings.
