OMEGA Brings Bond And Spectre Together In Its Latest Seamaster Collection

A new six-piece Diver 300M collection built around two very different sides of the same story.

For more than three decades, OMEGA and James Bond have shared one of watchmaking’s most recognisable partnerships. Now, that relationship takes an unexpected turn as Spectre enters the picture.

The new collection brings together six Seamaster Diver 300M timepieces, divided equally between the James Bond and Spectre identities. All share the same 42mm case and OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, but their contrasting details explore two very different ideas of character.

Bond is defined by duty, discipline and loyalty. Spectre, by contrast, represents independence, self-interest and the freedom to operate beyond conventional constraints. Rather than simply positioning one against the other, OMEGA uses the pairing to explore how seemingly opposing qualities can exist within the same universe.

Two Sides, One Foundation

That contrast is expressed most clearly through the watches themselves. The James Bond models take a more recognisable route, with blue detailing and the familiar visual language associated with 007. Spectre moves into darker territory, using black ceramic and grained finishes to create a more shadowy character.

The distinction becomes more pronounced in the two limited-edition sets, each restricted to 77 numbered examples. Their platinum-gold versions push the identities further, with Bond represented through a blue gradient dial and gun-barrel motif, while Spectre adopts a dark-grey dial with an octopus design.

Yet beneath those differences, the watches remain fundamentally connected through the Seamaster platform and the same in-house Master Chronometer movement.

A Different Kind Of Bond Story

The collection also extends the cinematic narrative beyond the watches. Each limited-edition set arrives with a selection of accessories and objects carrying the visual codes of its respective character, turning the presentation itself into part of the experience.

What makes the collection interesting is that OMEGA does not simply introduce Spectre as Bond’s darker counterpart. Instead, the two are presented as complementary identities — duty alongside independence, discipline alongside freedom.

For OMEGA, it is a natural evolution of a partnership that has lasted more than 30 years. For collectors, it offers a new way of looking at the Bond watch: not simply as an emblem of 007, but as part of a larger universe with more than one side.
