For more than three decades, OMEGA and James Bond have shared one of cinema’s most enduring partnerships. Now, that relationship expands beyond film and into the world of interactive storytelling with the launch of 007 First Light and OMEGA is a part of it.
Developed by IO Interactive in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios, the upcoming action-adventure title explores a reimagined Bond origin story, following a 26-year-old version of the spy as he earns his 007 status. Scheduled for global release on 27 May 2026, the game introduces a younger, more contemporary Bond while retaining the espionage, precision and gadgetry synonymous with the franchise.
At the centre of the missions is an OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph, equipped within the game with fictional hacking technology and a laser-equipped strap. Rather than remaining purely digital, the watch has now been translated into a fully realised timepiece, joining OMEGA’s wider James Bond collection.
The result reflects a growing convergence between luxury watchmaking, entertainment and gaming culture—where virtual objects increasingly shape real-world design narratives.
A SEAMASTER DESIGNED FROM GAMING

The Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph 007 First Light marks a first within Bond’s long-running Seamaster lineage: it is the first chronograph interpretation associated with the character.
Sized at 44 mm and crafted in stainless steel, the watch retains the familiar architecture of the Diver 300M while introducing details informed directly by the visual world of the game. A polished black ceramic bezel with white enamel diving scale frames a laser-engraved black ceramic dial, while polished ceramic pushers add a more technical and contemporary edge.
Subtle accents in PVD bronze gold appear throughout the design, including the central chronograph seconds hand and the ring around the subdial at three o’clock, creating contrast against the otherwise monochromatic palette. Rhodium-plated hands and indexes filled with white Super-LumiNova preserve clarity and legibility, while the Seamaster logo appears discreetly in red above the date aperture at six o’clock.

The accompanying NATO strap further reinforces the game connection. Rendered in black, grey and beige tones reminiscent of the strap seen in No Time to Die, the design introduces a distinct new pattern alongside engraved 007 First Light detailing on the hardware. OMEGA has also released six additional NATO strap variations, each reflecting different strap configurations featured within the game itself.
PRECISION, PERFORMANCE AND COLLECTABILITY

Powering the watch is the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9900, visible through a sapphire crystal caseback featuring a black-metallised 007 First Light logo. The movement offers OMEGA’s highest standards of precision, magnetic resistance and chronometric performance, while supporting the chronograph layout central to the watch’s gameplay-inspired identity.

Each timepiece is presented in a bespoke box inspired by the in-game suitcase used to transport Bond’s watches, further extending the crossover between physical object and digital narrative.
Rather than functioning purely as merchandise, the Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph 007 First Light feels more like a continuation of OMEGA’s evolving Bond story—one that now extends beyond cinema into the interactive worlds shaping a new generation of audiences.
