Eight decades of French dairy craftsmanship arrive at the afternoon tea table as Park Lounge at Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur marks Elle & Vire’s 80th anniversary with Crème de la Crème, a three-month collaboration celebrating the art of pâtisserie.
Running from 11 September to 30 November 2026, the collaboration brings together Elle & Vire Brand Ambassador Chef Mandy Siu, Founder of Hong Kong’s Finesse Patisserie, and Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur’s Executive Pastry Chef Holger Deh. Together, they reinterpret the classic afternoon tea through a menu that balances French technique with contemporary Asian influences.
Chef Mandy’s journey into pastry began at 15, eventually leading to the opening of Finesse Patisserie in 2022. Recognised as Best Pastry Chef by 100 Top Tables, she brings her distinctive approach to the collaboration, with creations including Flan Cacao Walnut, Verbena Lime Bubble Tart and Pecan Café Latte.

Alongside these, Chef Holger Deh presents his own interpretations, including Black Forest Cherries, a Mille Feuille inspired by coconut kaya and Monaca Genmaicha. The result is a menu that moves between familiar European patisserie and flavours with a distinctly regional sensibility, while showcasing Elle & Vire’s French dairy heritage throughout.
The experience launches on 11 September with a special appearance by Chef Mandy at Park Lounge, accompanied by live accordion music – an appropriately French flourish for an afternoon dedicated to one of the country’s longstanding dairy houses.

The menu will also evolve during its residency. Seasonal additions will arrive in October, followed by a festive interpretation in November, giving returning guests a reason to revisit the experience as it moves through the year.
Beyond the afternoon tea itself, Chef Holger’s exclusive Black Forest creation extends the collaboration into Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur’s Bakery Bar and online. Created especially for the occasion, the dessert brings his interpretation of the classic Black Forest together with Elle & Vire’s dairy craftsmanship.

At its heart, Crème de la Crème is a celebration of the relationship between ingredient and technique – and a reminder that after 80 years, French dairy craftsmanship continues to find new expression in the hands of a new generation of pastry chefs.
Crème de la Crème Afternoon Tea at Park Lounge, Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is priced at MYR 228 nett per person. An optional Sparkling Rosé Tea pairing is available at MYR 58 nett per person.
