An afternoon tea can be about more than what is served on the table. On 3 October, The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur will turn its traditional tea ritual into an occasion for wellness, connection and giving with A Pink Afternoon Tea Soirée, held in support of the Cancer Society of Malaysia.
Taking place from 3pm to 6pm, the event brings together afternoon tea, live music and a selection of sensory experiences in the hotel’s refined surroundings. The Solianos will provide the soundtrack to the afternoon, while a group of local partners will add their own elements to the occasion.
Among them is Pax Flora, whose Scents of Malaysia collection draws on the flora and aromatic plants of the country’s rainforests. The homegrown fragrance range explores scents rooted in Malaysia’s natural landscape, offering guests a distinctly local interpretation of fine fragrance.

Mangosteen, meanwhile, will host a personalised linen spray workshop, inviting guests to create their own signature scent. The social enterprise channels 100 per cent of its profits towards causes that empower women and children, adding another dimension of purpose to the afternoon.
The floral element comes courtesy of Orchid Culture, with Phalaenopsis orchids providing an elegant botanical presence. Long associated with grace and refinement, the flowers complement the event’s emphasis on beauty, wellbeing and togetherness.
Guests can choose from three settings within The Majestic. Afternoon tea at The Tea Lounge is priced at MYR70++ per person, while The Drawing Room is MYR90++ per person and The Orchid Conservatory is MYR120++ per person.
More than a seasonal social occasion, A Pink Afternoon Tea Soirée places philanthropy alongside the pleasures of an afternoon well spent — bringing together good food, music, fragrance and flowers while supporting the work of the Cancer Society of Malaysia.
