After a hard fought match that went into extra time, Spain lifted the coveted World Cup Trophy with a solitary goal over Argentina. For their efforts they now not only have bragging rights to being the champions of football but they are also taking home the cup in a stylish Louis Vuitton trunk.
As Official Supplier and Branded Licensee of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, Louis Vuitton returned to football’s biggest stage with a bespoke Trophy Trunk designed to carry and present the tournament’s iconic trophy. Louis Vuitton Ambassadors Hoyeon and Carlos Alcaraz presented the World Cup in its Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk just before the kick-off at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Crafted at the Maison’s historic workshop in Asnières-sur-Seine, near Paris, the Trophy Trunk reflects Louis Vuitton’s enduring savoir-faire in the art of travel. Wrapped in the House’s signature Monogram canvas, it featured hand-painted golden “V” motifs symbolising both Victory and Vuitton, alongside leather lozines, gold-plated brass hardware and a leather-lined interior finished with a Louis Vuitton and FIFA partnership emblem.

The Trophy Trunk will make its appearance during the FIFA World Cup 2026™ final, continuing a tradition that began in 2010. Marking 16 consecutive years of Louis Vuitton’s presence at football’s most celebrated global event, the partnership has become a defining expression of the Maison’s philosophy, “Victory Travels in Louis Vuitton” — where moments of triumph are elevated through generations of craftsmanship and heritage.

Alongside the Trophy Trunk, Louis Vuitton also unveiled a limited-edition collection inspired by the design, comprising the Coffret 8 Montres, Cotteville 16 Montres and the Malle Courrier Lozine 110. Each piece featured the House’s iconic Monogram canvas and hand-painted FIFA World Cup Trophy motif, while remaining available for personalisation through Louis Vuitton’s signature customisation service.
By extending its Art of Travel into the world of football, Louis Vuitton once again demonstrated how exceptional craftsmanship can become part of the rituals surrounding the world’s most celebrated sporting event.
