There is a distinct sense of arrival when stepping into a Ralph Lauren space. The world feels familiar, yet never quite ordinary: rich woods, aged leather, burnished brass and the quiet assurance that every detail has been considered without ever feeling overly designed.
In Chengdu, that aesthetic extends beyond fashion.
Located on the third floor of Ralph Lauren’s Double RL flagship in Jin Jiang District, Ralph’s Bar has been named No. 28 on the Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 list, marking its first appearance on the regional ranking and an important milestone for Ralph Lauren’s hospitality ambitions in Asia Pacific.

The list was announced at Wynn Palace in Macau on 28 July, bringing together some of the region’s most distinguished drinking destinations. For Ralph’s Bar, the recognition places a relatively young establishment—opened in 2022—among Asia’s most notable contemporary bars.
An American Bar In The Heart Of Chengdu

Ralph’s Bar is the first Ralph Lauren restaurant and bar concept in Asia Pacific, translating the designer’s unmistakably American sensibility into a hospitality setting.
Guests enter via a vintage-inspired wood and metal staircase lined with artwork before arriving at a dining room and bar wrapped in hand-waxed oak panelling, distressed saddle leather and aged brass. Vintage artwork and decorative details reinforce the feeling of an old-world American club, while an outdoor terrace introduces lush greenery and panoramic views across Chengdu.

The drinks programme follows the same philosophy.
At its heart is an extensive collection of American whiskey, bourbon and rye, including some of the rarest bottles available in China. The cocktail list focuses on timeless classics and whiskey-forward creations rather than chasing trends, mirroring Ralph Lauren’s broader approach to design: recognisable, enduring and deliberately removed from fashion’s constant cycle of reinvention.
A Broader Expression Of Ralph Lauren

The food follows suit, with a distinctly American menu built around Ralph Lauren signatures. USDA Prime beef forms the basis of the Ralph’s Burger and Colorado Burger, while Mini Lobster Rolls and other dishes complement the bar’s more leisurely, social character.
That sense of place is central to Ralph Lauren’s expanding hospitality portfolio, which now spans restaurants, bars and coffee shops in cities including New York, Chicago, Paris and Milan, alongside Chengdu.

The move into hospitality has become an increasingly natural extension of luxury fashion, allowing brands to translate their visual identity into something more immersive. At Ralph’s Bar, that means experiencing the Ralph Lauren aesthetic not simply through clothing or interiors, but through food, drink, music and the ritual of spending an evening in the space.
Its No. 28 debut on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 suggests that the concept is resonating beyond the Ralph Lauren universe.
For Chengdu, meanwhile, the recognition adds another layer to a city increasingly establishing itself as one of China’s most compelling destinations for food, drink and contemporary culture. Ralph’s Bar may carry the visual language of an American classic, but its place on Asia’s 50 Best Bars list confirms that its appeal extends well beyond its origins.
