Royal Selangor is set to expand its range of Star Wars collectibles. At Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025, the brand will make a stellar appearance unveiling a dazzling range of limited-edition collectibles that honour the saga’s enduring legacy.
Held from 18–20 April 2025 at Makuhari Messe, Booth 14-6, Hall 2, fans can explore these finely crafted tributes to the galaxy far, far away. Here’s a sneak peek of what’s coming from Royal Selangor for its new Star Wars collection.
Event-Exclusive Rebel & Empire Medallions
Among the most anticipated releases are the Celebration Japan-exclusive medallions, paying homage to the eternal conflict between the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire. The Rebel medallion features the iconic starbird crest in a satin finish. The Empire medallion bears the commanding insignia with a bold dark-tinted finish.
Both include the official Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025 emblem on the reverse and are limited to just 1,500 pieces each. For collectors seeking something even more exclusive, a 24K gilt edition set of both medallions will also be available. Housed in a specially designed wooden box, only 500 sets will be produced.
Limited Edition Star Wars Gilt Classic Chess Set
A centrepiece of the new collection, the Star Wars Gilt Classic Chess Set transforms the battle between the Rebellion and Empire into a game of strategy and elegance. Each pewter chess piece is exquisitely gilt in 24K gold, representing beloved characters in breathtaking detail.
Rebel forces shine in bright gilt finishes, while the Empire’s pieces exude power with a dark-tinted gold look. Set on a tempered glass board with satin-finish pewter feet, this chess set is limited to just 100 sets worldwide.
The Mandalorian BE@RBRICK
Also debuting at the event is the Mandalorian BE@RBRICK, a collaboration between Royal Selangor and MEDICOM TOY. Inspired by the stoic bounty hunter Din Djarin, the figure is clad in sculpted pewter designed to mimic the lustrous effect of beskar armour.
Every detail—from the T-visored helmet to his battle-worn gear—is faithfully recreated. This exclusive launches at Star Wars Celebration Japan before becoming available via Royal Selangor stores, royalselangor.com, and MEDICOM TOY outlets.
Spring/Summer 2025 Star Wars Line-Up
Coinciding with the event is the launch of Royal Selangor’s Spring/Summer 2025 Star Wars collection, led by a tribute to one of cinema’s most iconic villains: Darth Vader. A bold pewter bust of Vader, finished in a black-tinted clearcoat, captures the Sith Lord’s imposing presence. The piece is mounted on a base inspired by his meditation chamber and is limited to 300 pieces globally.
The “I Am Your Father” Plaque immortalises one of the most famous moments in film history—Vader’s shocking revelation to Luke. Cast in low-relief pewter with a resin background and wooden frame, it’s a must-have for any fan of The Empire Strikes Back.
There’s also a Darth Vader Credit Card Wallet. Stylish and Sith-inspired, this sleek wallet holds up to seven cards and features Vader’s unmistakable visage. Personalisation options are also available, adding to the allure.
The Battle of Hoth Plaque allows fans to relive the epic clash on the icy plains of Hoth. This detailed pewter plaque showcases the dramatic scene with AT-ATs and Rebel defences, framed and ready for display.
All featured collectibles will be available at Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025, with select items launching online and in stores from April 2025 onwards.
