Bentley Kuala Lumpur has officially introduced the fourth-generation Continental GT Speed, marking a new chapter in the 21-year legacy of the iconic grand tourer. This latest iteration blends uncompromising supercar performance, timeless luxury, and modern sustainability—delivering what Bentley calls the “everyday supercar.”
At the heart of the new Continental GT Speed is Bentley’s groundbreaking Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain. A newly developed 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, paired with a 190 PS electric motor, produces a combined 782 PS and 1,000 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful Bentley grand tourer ever.
It emphatically proves it too with the century sprint clocked in just 3.2 seconds. It also delivers a top speed of 335 km/h—all while delivering 81 km of electric-only range and CO₂ emissions as low as 29 g/km.
Light And Nimble
Performance is matched by agility, thanks to a sophisticated Performance Active Chassis. Featuring Bentley Dynamic Ride, all-wheel steering, dual-valve dampers, and an electronic limited-slip differential, the car offers unmatched body control and comfort.
For the first time, the Continental GT features a rear-biased 49:51 weight distribution, enabled by the strategic placement of the 25.9 kWh battery behind the rear axle. Design-wise, the new GT Speed redefines modern luxury with inspiration drawn from Bentley’s coachbuilt Bacalar and Batur models.
It debuts a single headlamp design for the first time since the 1950s, giving the front a sharper, more aggressive character. The Tourmaline Green and Moonbeam colour options were on full display at the Malaysian launch, highlighting Bentley’s updated palette that includes the sophisticated new Gravity Grey.
Every detail of the new exterior has been meticulously revised—from the bold new bumper and tailpipes to the aerodynamically sculpted boot lid and 22-inch directional wheels inspired by a tiger’s claw. At the rear, redesigned taillights create a dramatic, molten-lava lighting effect.
Built For Comfort
Step inside, and Bentley’s legendary craftsmanship takes centre stage. New 3D leather textures, dark chrome finishes, and a refreshed precision quilting pattern enhance the interior’s sophistication. The optional Wellness front seats offer Postural Adjust and Auto Climate systems, delivering comfort on a whole new level.
Tech-wise, the new Continental GT features an advanced 400-volt electrical architecture, enabling Bentley’s most sophisticated suite of infotainment and driver assistance systems to date. Highlights include a revised air-conditioning system with ionisation, particulate filters, and real-time air quality displays.
The Bentley Rotating Display returns in the new model, offering a choice between a 12.3” touchscreen, elegant analogue dials, or a panel of handcrafted veneer. Three audio systems are available, including a 2,200W Naim system with 18 speakers and Active Bass Transducers built into the front seats for an immersive experience. Laminated acoustic glass ensures a whisper-quiet cabin, reducing exterior noise by up to nine decibels.
The new Continental GT Speed is now available at Bentley Kuala Lumpur with a starting price of RM3,120,000.
