The 17th installment of the Le French Festival returns once again and The Peak guides you to our four favourite experiences that truly embody the French joie de vivre!

Allez Franchophiles! The Le French Festival is back again, brimming with brilliant French cultural experiences all the way from Penang to Johor Bahru. Organised by Alliance Française (AF) and the Embassy of France in Malaysia, the five-week fête is a celebration of films, music, theatre, art and food from l'Hexagone.

Here are four special moments from the Le French Festival that will definitely satiate your love for all things French. Ça vous dit?

If you’ve never heard of Duo Jatekok, now’s your chance to get acquainted with the talented duo who’ve been mesmerising audiences around the world with their brilliant piano work. From their first piano lessons together as children, Adélaïde Panaget and Naïri Badal formed a musical bond that led to a magical exploration of classical and contemporary repertoire of four hands on a single piano.

Prepare to be mesmerised as their nimble fingers dance along the piano keys at No Black Tie for two exclusive nights. Performing their latest album Les Boys, audiences will be nodding their heads and tapping their feet in this musical ode to the eponymous duo of American pianists. The programme for two pianos will also include the talented women performing iconic 20th century pieces written by Trotignon, Brubeck, Poulenc and Ravel.
