Chicken and cai por (preserved radish) are unusual ingredients found in rice dumplings, but they are present in Crystal Jade’s Scallion Oil Chicken with Preserved Vegetable Cai Por Rice Dumpling ($8.80). The dumping, which is coated with homemade scallion oil, features meaty chunks of chicken thigh, and is also studded with cai por, which injects a burst of umami flavour. Available till June 22.
