05: BURBERRY TRENCH LEATHER WALLET
The good old wallet is definitely a tried and tested Father’s Day gift. But just because it’s a classic gift doesn’t mean it has to be a classic style wallet. Burberry’s new DK88 collection was named after the house code for the signature gabardine in their trench coats. To highlight these signature coats of the brand, the assortment of men’s and women’s bag in the DK88 collection uses a new and exclusive Trench leather. As you could probably deduce from the name, this leather is embossed with the distinctive twill finish pattern of cotton garbadine, the cloth patented by Thomas Burberry back in 1888. The Burberry Trench Leather International Bifold Wallets may not be in the DK88 collection but they are still crafted in Trench leather made of calf leather and come in an assortment of unorthodox yet incredibly stylish colours.
