Wellness is rarely a one-dimensional pursuit. It can mean building physical strength, finding mental balance, securing financial independence or simply having the space to reconnect with oneself. It is this broader understanding of wellbeing that underpins the Women Wellness Festival, which returns on 3 and 4 October 2026 for its biggest edition yet.
Founded by Diane Chia, Raja Jesrina Arshad and Sarah Lian, the festival has grown from an idea shared between three friends into a community gathering that brings together women at different stages of life. Following two sold-out editions, its third iteration expands into a two-day experience at Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown, welcoming an anticipated community of 2,000 participants.
A Weekend Of Wellness
Across five zones and two floors, more than 50 workshops, talks, panels and hands-on sessions will explore the many dimensions of wellbeing, from movement and mindfulness to financial wellness, ageing and personal development. The programme brings together practitioners, experts and accomplished women from Malaysia and the region, including squash champion Datuk Nicol David, HYROX World Champion Hannah Prescott, fitness trainer Allisha Azlan, Dr Jillian Yeoh and financial advocate Rejina Rahim. The festival will be officially launched by YB Hannah Yeoh, who returns for a second consecutive year.
For Chia, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Millennia Village, the festival’s philosophy lies in recognising that wellness evolves alongside the individual. “Wellness is not something reserved for one season of life. Every stage has its own kind of vitality, and this festival is where women can rediscover that for themselves, whatever age they are and wherever they are on their journey,” she says.

This perspective is reflected in a programme that extends beyond conventional approaches to health. Alongside fitness, mindfulness and breathwork, attendees can explore topics that are often less openly discussed, including financial wellbeing and the realities of ageing. The intention is to create an experience that prioritises meaningful engagement, with carefully selected speakers and facilitators offering perspectives that resonate beyond the sessions themselves.
For Jesrina Arshad, Founder and CEO of PurelyB, the festival’s growth reflects the connections it has fostered over the years. Her ambition is for participants to leave feeling more confident in themselves and with a renewed appreciation for a more natural, grounded approach to wellbeing.
Playground For The Active
The move to Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown as its official venue partner marks another milestone. With indoor spaces and poolside settings, the new venue provides room for the festival to expand while retaining the intimate sense of connection that has shaped its identity. As Sarah Lian, Founder of Supparetreat, observes, creating opportunities for women to pause, share openly and feel a sense of belonging remains central to the experience.
Supported by partners including NOVV, Gentle Therapy, REN Wellness and Muka Wellness, the festival is also designed to be accessible to a wider audience, with advance Festival Access tickets starting at RM20 and individual workshops priced from RM38.
Open to both women and men, the Women Wellness Festival reflects an increasingly holistic view of wellbeing — one shaped not only by individual practices, but also by the communities that support them.
