What does it take to remain composed when the stakes are at their highest? For Novak Djokovic, the answer extends beyond the tennis court. This December, the 24-time Grand Slam champion will bring elements of his approach to performance and wellbeing to Amanjena, the Aman resort on the outskirts of Marrakech, for a three-night retreat exploring the relationship between mental clarity and physical discipline.

Titled Stillness and Strength, the programme will run from 17 to 20 December 2026. Following his inaugural retreat at Amanyara last year, Djokovic returns in his role as Aman Global Ambassador and Wellness Advisor, leading an intimate gathering designed to introduce guests to some of the practices that underpin his approach to competition.
Rather than focusing on tennis alone, the retreat looks at how discipline, mindfulness and ritual can help people respond to pressure with greater clarity. Djokovic, alongside members of his personal tennis team, will guide participants through a programme that combines tennis masterclasses with meditation, breathwork and restorative experiences.
Beyond The Tennis Court

The itinerary brings together the physical and mental aspects of performance. Tennis sessions offer guests an opportunity to learn from one of the sport’s most accomplished players, while daily mindfulness, meditation and breathwork sessions, led by Amanjena’s wellness specialists, shift the focus towards concentration and composure.
Rest and recovery are also part of the programme. At Amanjena Spa, guests will receive a 60-minute Beldi Hammam and a 60-minute therapeutic argan massage, alongside access to the resort’s wellness facilities. Daily menus curated by Djokovic will complement the schedule, with an emphasis on nourishing cuisine.
The approach reflects a broader understanding of performance, in which recovery and mental focus are as important as physical training. It also offers a different perspective on the routines of a professional athlete, translating elements of a demanding sporting career into practices that can be explored beyond competition.
A Setting For Stillness

Located just beyond Marrakech, Amanjena offers a fitting backdrop for the retreat. Its gardens, olive groves and palm trees unfold against the distant High Atlas Mountains, while clay tennis courts and dedicated wellness facilities provide space for both movement and reflection.
The retreat also builds on Aman’s wider wellness philosophy, which considers mental and spiritual wellbeing alongside physical health. Djokovic’s multi-year partnership with the hospitality group began in 2024, when he was named its first Global Ambassador and Wellness Advisor.
For three nights, the emphasis at Amanjena will be on the balance between exertion and recovery, and the discipline required to make space for both. Reservations for Stillness and Strength are required, with places strictly limited.
