The Lamborghini Owners Malaysia (LOM) bunch are certainly no strangers to stirring up a lot of positive buzz with their awesome rides!
For instance, just back in June 2022, they broke the Malaysian Book of Records with the largest gathering of Raging Bulls at the KLCC open-air car park with some 112 Lambos and their owners taking part.
This time around, they are set to organise the largest ensembles of exotic Lambos at 6,000 feet above sea level! This gathering of the Sant’Agata Bolognese-based carmaker’s faithful and their machines are set to take place at Resorts World Genting on March 1. LOM aim to have at least 130 “Stampeding Bulls” gathered in front of Highlands Hotel, Resorts World Genting from 10.38am till 12.38pm on 1 March, to make it into the Malaysia Book of Records.
During a recent drive up to the resort city in the clouds with a group of member-owners in an assortment of 12 Lamborghinis, Roslan Rosdi, the president of LOM expressed his utmost confidence that the record-breaking attempt will turn out to be a piece of cake, really. “After all, as it is, LOM already has over 200 registered members throughout the country so I am sure that this attempt will be a great success.”
Meanwhile, LOM Organising Chairman Dato’ Rakesh Sachdev also stressed that this latest record-breaking attempt by the group illustrates its competitive spirit perfectly: “Our record-breaking endeavours just reflects the iconic Italian motoring house’ world-class mindset and indomitable spirit. This upcoming simply effort echoes a constant drive to push boundaries!”
Winnie Lim, VP of Resorts World Genting is also very thrilled about being the co-hosts of LOM’s historic record-breaking effort. She believes that exciting activities like this are just perfect in hyping up Resorts World Genting as a key destination for leisure and entertainment in the region. “As a pioneer and a progressive leisure and hospitality icon ourselves, we definitely mirror LOM’s exciting and relentless pursuit of extraordinary achievements.”
Lim goes on to say that this record-breaking attempt is but a prelude to a plethora of exciting events ranging from concerts, retail and food & beverage affairs set to happen in Genting and give anyone a good reason to make a quick escape to the highlands!
