Fraser Residence Putrajaya has made its soft opening, introducing Frasers Hospitality to Malaysia’s administrative capital with a new take on serviced living. Set within TERRA, an integrated lakeside development in Precinct 8, the 283-key residence combines contemporary design, resort-style amenities and the flexibility of a home away from home.

Developed by Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd, TERRA spans 11.5 acres of prime lakefront land and brings together residential, hospitality, retail and event spaces. Fraser Residence Putrajaya forms a key part of the development, placing guests directly beside the tranquil waters of Putrajaya Lake.
“The debut of Fraser Residence Putrajaya represents an important milestone for Frasers Hospitality in Malaysia,” said Vernon Lee, Regional Senior Vice President, Southeast Asia & Australia, Frasers Hospitality. “Renowned as a city defined by vision and growth, Putrajaya provides an ideal setting for an integrated development like TERRA.”
Designed Around Everyday Living

The residence comprises 283 serviced apartments across four categories and nine room types, ranging from studios to three-bedroom lakeview apartments with balconies. Each is designed around longer stays, with fully equipped kitchens, generous living areas and practical contemporary interiors.
The emphasis extends beyond the apartments. Guests have access to a family games room, children’s playroom, gymnasium and swimming pool, while meeting rooms cater to business travellers balancing work with extended stays.
Two dining venues complete the offering. Relish serves international buffet and à la carte options throughout the day, while Lakeside Café takes a more relaxed approach with pastries, light bites, coffee, tea and refreshments served against views of the lake.
A New Perspective on Putrajaya
TERRA places Fraser Residence Putrajaya within a growing lifestyle precinct that includes a 348-unit residential condominium, a 170,000 sq ft community mall and a 35,000 sq ft event hall. Beyond the property, Putrajaya offers a distinctly different pace from Kuala Lumpur. Conceived as a garden city around its network of waterways, the federal capital combines monumental architecture with extensive green spaces and waterfront recreation.

The Putra Mosque, Putrajaya Botanical Garden and Taman Warisan Pertanian are among the city’s attractions, while Putrajaya Lake can be explored on foot, by boat or kayak. The Putrajaya International Convention Centre also makes the city an increasingly relevant destination for business and events.
Located around 20 minutes from Kuala Lumpur International Airport and adjacent to Cyberjaya, Fraser Residence Putrajaya is positioned to serve both leisure and corporate travellers. Four meeting spaces and on-site parking add to its business appeal, while further development at TERRA, including a shopping mall and the 1,000-seat Terra Acara convention hall scheduled for 2027, is set to expand the precinct’s lifestyle and events offering.
