1. Wildmoor

Wildmoor, a nature-inspired, high-aged blended Scotch whisky, recently made its Singapore debut. It is concocted from a vast private reserve of malt and grain whiskies by William Grant & Sons, a renowned family-owned distiller. Master blender Brian Kinsman has crafted a series of five expressions, from 23 to 30 Year Old, all inspired by the great Scottish outdoors, from ancient moorlands, rugged coastlines, dense forests, and imposing lochs.

The Wildmoor Dark Moorland: 23 Year Old is matured in American and European oak, punctuated by an Oloroso Sherry Cask finish. The Rugged Coast: 30 Year Old features a blend of smoky peat and rich stone fruit notes, while the Black Mountain: 40 Year Old boasts an intense blend of rare grain and Highland malts accentuated by the addition of ghosted distillery stock.

These three expressions are available at since1887.sg and wildmoorwhisky.com. The remaining expressions and Black Mountain: 40 Year Old are available for travel retail at Lotte Duty-Free at Changi Airport.

2. The Macallan Harmony Collection Green Meadow

For the third edition of The Macallan Harmony Collection, the single malt Scotch whisky brand, which celebrates its 200-year anniversary this year, has teamed up with Stella and Mary McCartney for Green Meadow. The creative duo counts the iconic Paul McCartney of The Beatles as their father.

The Green Meadow, inspired by the Scottish grasslands, pays homage to the sisters’ memories of growing up in Scotland. The whisky has been aged in sherry-seasoned oak and bourbon casks, which gives off a fresh, citrusy, and primrose aroma, coupled with flavours of rich lemon, vanilla, and almonds.

Available at Lotte Duty-Free in Changi Airport.

3. Longmorn

Speyside single malt whisky brand Longmorn has marked a new chapter in its 130-year history with the release of the 18 Year Old and 22 Year Old expressions. Longmorn, which is owned by parent company Pernod Ricard, is making these two expressions the core of its whisky portfolio as it pledges that upcoming single malt whisky releases will be matured for no less than 18 years.

The 18 Year Old boasts flavour notes of toffee apples, apricots, and a subtly sweet finish of creamy milk chocolate. The 22 Year Old carries a richer depth of flavour, with tasting notes of hazelnut praline and luscious toffee balanced by citrus and poached pears.

Available on online platform le-cercle.sg and selected retailers.

The famed Islay distillery has launched the limited edition Micro Provenance Single Cask 0287, which has been exclusively bottled for Singapore. The single malt whisky was aged 12 years in a second-fill Jurançon cask before being bottled last May.
