Overnight stays in exclusive and unique accommodation, an immersive cultural experience, seasonal local produce made extraordinary by celebrated chefs and epic drives are some of the experiences that will be offered with Bentley Motors’ newly unveiled ‘Extraordinary Journeys’ travel series.
Launching this month, the British luxury car brand’s specialty travel programme will bring a highly limited number of guests on a once-in-a-lifetime journey to inspired locales.
Scandi-UK highlights
The series begins with curated three- to five-day itineraries in Scandinavia, New Mexico and the United Kingdom, with more locations soon to follow. Each journey is designed to be a luxurious deep dive into the very best of local culture, anchored by exclusive and curated experiences.
For example, the Scandinavian programme, which celebrates the region’s world-famous penchant for architecture and design with a backstage pass to the studio of celebrated Danish architect Bjarke Ingels, the founder of BIG. This will be complemented by stays at various luxury hotels, ranging from boutique joint Ett Hem in Stockholm to a five-star forest hotel tucked away in the Swedish woodland.
As for the United Kingdrom journey, your sojourn naturally kicks off at the marque’s flagship CW1 showroom in Crewe, where you’ll be given an insider tour of the Bentley factory. Other highlights on the trip include a night-long stay at the exclusive Middleton Lodge, as well as a pilgrimage to the scotch lover’s paradise that is The Macallan’s Distillery in Scotland.
Taking the scenic route
Driving will of course be a big part of the marque’s ‘Extraordinary Journeys’, with plenty of scenic touring to be had behind the wheel of a Bentley – an equally intriguing experience for the motorhead who typically prefers an Italian or German-made as well as a pre-existing Bentley owner who’d like to get some miles behind the wheel of another in their portfolio.
The trips will be run on multiple occasions, depending on itinerary – you can head to Bentley’s website for exact dates and other details, and the opportunity to register your interest.
