clThis one’s for the foodies. This Spring, gourmands can experience a unique Michelin-starred dinner series on board the iconic British Pullman. Through its Celebrity Chef Dinner Series, Belmond’s luxury train will be ferrying (and feting) passengers on a journey with menus curated by some of the UK’s most renowned culinary maestros.
Four Michelin-starred chefs – Andrew Wong, Atul Kochhar, Phil Howard, and Theo Randall – will board the British Pullman this year to present their own distinctive cuisine to passengers. With the first journey taking place on 18 April 2025, passengers will get to enjoy idyllic views as they savour dishes prepared by the masters of modern British dining.
Delicious Dining Experience
A true British culinary adventure, the luxurious train invites guests to experience a menu representing the country’s culinary identity. The leading chef will prepare a seasonal five-course tasting menu complemented by a champagne reception and sommelier-selected fine wines.
Alongside the delicious offerings, passengers can also enjoy the glamour of the train’s Art Deco interiors. As the train winds through picturesque British countryside vistas, the evening concludes with coffee, petits fours. There’s also a personal visit from the featured chef, offering select insights into the artistry behind the menu.
Prices for the Celebrity Chef Dinner Series start at £565 per person including a round trip on the British Pullman.
Meet The Maestros
Chef Theo Randall will open the Celebrity Chef Dinner Series. A star on television and within Michelin-starred kitchens, he is celebrated for his rustic yet refined approach to Italian cuisine.
Chef Phil Howard takes over the British Pullman kitchen on 22 May. With two Michelin stars to his name, Chef Phil will showcase his signature style of clean, vibrant, and beautifully balanced French dishes.
On 13 June, the train transforms into a showcase of regional Chinese cuisine under the direction of Chef Andrew Wong. The two Michelin-starred chef is renowned for his ability to reimagine Chinese cuisine using British ingredients, blending history and innovation in every dish.
For the final departure on 24 October, Chef Atul Kochhar takes to the stage. The chef patron of the first Indian restaurant in the world to earn a Michelin star brings his inspiring approach to new wave British Indian cuisine.
