If you are an entrepreneur between the ages of 20 and 40, and are helming an impact-driven business or non-profit organisation, you could be in the running for the Young Leader Award by Red Club x Cartier. Applications have just opened for the Young Leader Award 2024, which is themed “Tech for a Sustainable Future”.
To celebrate the launch of the 2024 edition, a dedicated event was held in Singapore from Oct 22 to 24. At a media event on Oct 23, a press panel featuring Giada Zhang (president of Red Club x Cartier), Dr Chee Yang Chen (Red Club head of Singapore chapter) and Richard Li (Red Club head of Sydney chapter) shared more about Red Club x Cartier’s global community of multicultural entrepreneurs.
Launched in 2019, Red Club x Cartier aims to build a community of successful influential and leaders aged 20 to 40 years old. United by conscious leadership and the desire to make a difference, these leaders share their experiences with the next generation of leaders to shape a better future together. Today, the community has some 40 members across 11 cities, or chapters.
The Young Leader Award was launched by Red Club x Cartier in 2021. Its goal is to provide young entrepreneurs with support to grow their enterprises and to amplify their voices. The theme of the 2024 edition of the awards, “Tech for a Sustainable Future”, spotlights emerging entrepreneurial efforts to provide technology-driven solutions for a better world.
The winner will win a grant of 50,000 euros (S$72,411), while the three runners-up will each receive 10,000 euros. The winner will also get to be part of a tailored membership programme provided by the Young Leader Award academic partners for this year — the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School and the University of Sydney Business School. Additionally, there will also be media exposure, international visibility and ad hoc mentoring sessions from the Red Club x Cartier network.
Applications are open from now to 31 Jan, 2024. The top four finalists will be announced next spring, and the winner will be named at the Young Leader Award to be held in Singapore next October. To learn more about the eligibility criteria and to apply, click here.
