In Kuala Lumpur’s evolving luxury landscape, Audemars Piguet introduces a new boutique concept that reimagines the modern watch retail experience. Located at The Starhill in Bukit Bintang, the new duplex boutique reflects the Manufacture’s growing presence in Southeast Asia while bringing visitors closer to the world of Haute Horlogerie.
Spanning 425 square metres across two levels, the Audemars Piguet boutique blends architecture, craftsmanship and storytelling within a carefully curated environment. Following recent openings in Chengdu and Ho Chi Minh City, the Kuala Lumpur space continues the rollout of the brand’s new global boutique concept across key luxury destinations.
Inspired By The Vallée De Joux

Conceived by Vincenzo De Cotiis Architects in collaboration with Audemars Piguet’s in-house architects, the boutique draws inspiration from the Vallée de Joux, the Swiss Jura valley where the Manufacture has been based since 1875. Throughout the space, materials such as liquid metal, frosted glass, opaque stone and wooden parquet flooring reflect the textures and contrasts found within the natural landscape.
The atmosphere feels warm yet contemporary. At the same time, the boutique balances residential elegance with the technical precision associated with fine watchmaking. Animated LED displays integrated across the façade and interior further bring the Manufacture’s landscape, craftsmanship and cultural universe to life.
An Immersive Watchmaking Experience

The experience begins before visitors even step inside. Animated front window displays celebrate Audemars Piguet’s roots, innovation and watchmaking heritage. Inside, a central pathway framed by parquet flooring and metallic ceiling details guides visitors through the boutique in an almost gallery-like rhythm.
Throughout the space, sculptural metallic tree trunks rise from floor to ceiling, each supporting crystal showcases where timepieces appear suspended in mid-air. Nearby, textured glass partitions inspired by cascading water soften the atmosphere, while a Black Cosmic stone installation featuring silver and golden veining adds depth and dramatic contrast.
Together, these architectural elements function as quiet storytelling devices. More importantly, they reflect the passing of time and the artistry behind the Manufacture’s watchmaking heritage.
A New Chapter For Kuala Lumpur

The upper level houses a private lounge designed for personalised presentations and intimate conversations with collectors and watch enthusiasts. Sustainability also remains central to the boutique concept, with Audemars Piguet aiming to achieve Gold or Platinum LEED certification whenever possible for future spaces.
To mark the opening, Audemars Piguet will also unveil a dedicated installation at The Starhill Piazza from 13 to 26 July 2026. Inspired by the Manufacture’s original site in Le Brassus, the installation will showcase the brand’s craftsmanship alongside its latest novelties.
The official inauguration of the Kuala Lumpur boutique will take place on 16 July 2026 in the presence of Stefanie Ng, Chief Executive Officer Southeast Asia, and Luis Miguel Gonzalez Sebastiani, Audemars Piguet Chief Commercial Officer.
