Korean Actor Park Bo-Gum Gets New Role As OMEGA Brand Ambassador

The award-winning thespian is the latest to join the family.

Park Bo-Gum

Famous for his roles in Reply 1988 (2015) and Love in Moonlight (2016), Korean actor Park Bo-Gum now has a new role off-screen — as an OMEGA Brand Ambassador.

The appointment places Park among an elite group of global ambassadors for the Swiss luxury watchmaker, alongside the likes of George Clooney, Nicole Kidman, Eddie Redmayne, Naomi Harris, Daniel Craig and Hyun Bin. Known for selecting figures who combine talent with timeless appeal, OMEGA’s ambassador roster reflects the brand’s long-standing values of precision, craftsmanship and understated elegance.

OMEGA President and CEO Raynald Aeschlimann praised Park’s wide appeal and artistic credibility, noting his ability to connect with audiences across generations. His versatility, commitment to his craft and genuine interest in watchmaking, Aeschlimann said, made him a natural fit for the brand.

Joining The Family

For Park, the partnership marks a meaningful moment in his career. The actor described his first-hand experience with OMEGA’s timepieces as particularly memorable, citing the brand’s heritage and meticulous craftsmanship as key sources of inspiration. Being chosen to represent OMEGA, he added, is both an honour and an opportunity to share its philosophy on a global stage.

To celebrate the announcement, Park was seen wearing the Seamaster Planet Ocean in stainless steel, featuring a bold blue dial (217.30.42.21.01.002). The watch’s sporty yet refined design mirrors his evolving image — confident, modern and quietly sophisticated.

Since debuting in the 2011 film Blind, Park Bo-Gum has steadily built one of the most respected careers in Korean entertainment. From beloved television dramas to more complex, physically demanding roles, he has continued to expand his range. In 2025, he returned to the spotlight with the Netflix series When Life Gives You Tangerines, followed by a striking transformation as a former national boxing champion in the drama Good Boy.

As Park Bo-Gum continues to take on diverse projects, his collaboration with OMEGA signals a new chapter — one that blends cinematic influence with luxury craftsmanship. With upcoming appearances and campaigns expected, all eyes will be on how this partnership unfolds.
