Ready to take these new hues on a test drive or run?

McLaren is no stranger to taking its products to next level — the marque has partnered with luxe shoe brand APL again to introduce three new colorways to their supercar-inspired sneaker collaboration.

The sneaker’s construction was born from the athletic sneaker that shook up the luxury footwear industry, coupled with the sleek engineering of McLaren. This can be seen from the three-piece segmented midsole with APL’s patented FutureFoam technology and a full-length carbon-fibre plate, a material that can also be found in the seats of mid-engine sports car McLaren Senna. The nitrogen-filled cushioning completes the design, giving the shoe its signature elevated look.

The latest additions to the best-selling HySpeed collection ensure that there is a shoe for every colour preference. If you prefer bright hues, the magenta-and-pristine ombre shoe mixed with yellow tones is right up your alley. The tan-and-midnight colourway takes inspiration from McLaren’s signature interiors, while the French Riveria’s colourful hue is suitable for those looking for something more subtle.

BMW and PUMA are at it again. After joining forces for a line of apparel to mark the 50th anniversary of sports car BMW M, the two rockstars of the race track have worked together once again for some swanky footwear. The LGND takes after the M4 Coupe in motorsport guise, and its design is reminiscent of  PUMA’s Speedcat line and gets its chrome accents inspired by shiny bits of the real car.

The BMW LGND makes use of adaptive reflective materials as a nod to the M4’s laser headlights while the T-Toe shape takes after the vehicle’s aggressive hood design. The Hofmeister Kink has been incorporated to cement the connection between the sneakers and the sports coupe’s famous bend at the C-pillar.

These stylish everyday sneakers for men can be teamed with both formal and casual wear. The new footwear comes in two BMW M Motorsport livery versions and is available at selected stores as well as online.

The combination of black and red is inherently aesthetically powerful as observed from many  of Ferrari’s automobiles. ION Speed, the result of Ferrari’s collaboration with PUMA, leverages on that. The footwear features a bold mix of high-performance materials with the shape of the design being inspired by the racing attitude of the SF90 Stradale.

The Ion Speed has a minimalist look using a knit mesh that’s very light. Puma used a 3D-raised TPU injection, as well as a heat-welded TPU skin making the shoe durable and comfortable to wear. This pair of shoes will have you looking like a true racing legend and going full throttle in the fashion department. Should you prefer to stand out from the crowd, the ION Speed is available in other colours including black, white, and saffron. Currently sold out in Singapore, this pair of sneakers are available in US stores and online.
