Rolex fans can view the renowned Explorer and Explorer II watches for yourself.
For the very first time, the British watchmaker has brought us two of its most iconic watches to Kuala Lumpur. Showcasing its iconic Explorer and Explorer II, the exhibition “A Watch Born to Explore” will run from August 6th through August 14th at Pavilion KL, Centre Court. Not only will you be feasting your eyes on Rolex logos up close during the exhibition, but you’ll also discover more about the brand’s history through illustrated panels and films.
The legendary brand have been providing adventurers with the Oyster Perpetual watches since the 1930s. It wasn’t until 1953 that the company introduced the Explorer, a watch with genuine adventure credentials developed in response to feedback from a Sir John Hunt-led Everest expedition.
The Rolex Explorer II, which was launched in 1971, was created specifically for speleological expeditions. The Explorer II’s orange GMT hand and fixed 24-hour frame assists in distinguishing between day and night. Additionally, the 42mm Explorer II’s calibre 3285 can measure time in two different time zones.
From 6th–14th August 2022, discover the watches at Centre Court Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
