With a clever combination of craftsmanship and stylish aesthetics, luxury watches make great collector’s items. On the plus side, watches increase in value each year. They give us precise time with their exquisite design crafted to last a lifetime.
A World Masterpiece. To date, Haute Horlogerie has no precedent when it comes to mastering the art of channelling a minute repeater watch in ceramic. Ceramic is often used when creating crowns, bezels, or perhaps pushers. Hence, when Hublot’s over the top to design, manufacture and assembled a Cathedral Minute Tourbillon Repeater entirely in ceramic, that was literally a mesmerising combination to witness.
The world’s first Big Bang Integral masterpiece – Hublot Big Bang Integral Minute Repeater Ceramic has been dubbed as a colossal challenge for its processing and finishing. Ceramic colouring with unique precise firing methods created an impressive finish. The case is made of 100% ceramic to guarantee water resistance and a clear and powerful chime.
Hublot sees the new timepiece as an exceptional one-piece black ceramic watch among the brand’s success in the field of watchmaking. The Hublot Big Bang Integral One-piece Minute Repeater Ceramic is available in a limited edition of 36 pieces, all with 43mm, 18 of them in black ceramic and 18 in white ceramic.
The tourbillon movement is an exceptional technical parameter, and the watchmaker mastered the art of the minute repeater. In keeping with Hublot tradition, the watch is equipped with a tourbillon movement designed and developed in-house, the MHUB801 hand-wound movement, which offers a power reserve of up to three days or 80 hours.
As a remarkable timepiece, the Big Bang Integral Ceramic Minute Repeater both holds technical and ornamental complex functions. These two aspects have fused together to create a truly grand design for the discerning collector. True to the history between Hublot and Japan, a country that is highly proficient in Haute Horlogerie, this edition will be available in Japan only.
