When haute joaillerie met haute horlogerie, the Patek Philippe Calatrava Ref 4899 was born. Celebrating 40 years of the ultra-thin, self-winding Calibre 240 movement, Patek Philippe has decided to launch the new Calatrava Ref 4899 that encapsulates the forementioned movement with 702 precious stones. The white gold case is gently rounded to allow a truly random setting of several rows, composed of flawless Top Wesselton brilliant-cut diamonds that alternate with brilliant-cut rose sapphires with varying colour intensities along its periphery. On the dial, the upper half is constructed out of mother-of-pearl, handengraved with feather motifs in varying shades of rose.
