02 AUDEMARS PIGUET ROYAL OAK FROSTED GOLD
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Royal Oak for women designed by Jacqueline Dimier, Audemars Piguet worked with brilliant jeweller Carolina Bucci, who brought ancient Florentine technique to the modern Royal Oak for women. The Royal Oak Frosted Gold looks as if it is fully encrusted in diamonds but this shimmering effect is, instead, achieved by using a diamond tool tip to repeatedly hammer the surface of the pink or white gold material. The result is a glittering finish that runs all the way from the bezel to the case and even the individual links of the bracelet.
