Having kicked off their partnership in 2021 with an ocean-preservation project, homegrown gaming lifestyle brand Razer and Panerai now present their first co-branded watch. The Luminor Quaranta Razer comes in a 40mm case made of recycled eSteel with a diamond-like coating (DLC). Aside from a black and electric green palette inspired by Razer’s colours, the self-winding watch also features engravings of the brand’s logo and name on the caseback and crown-protection bridge, respectively.

Race to the top

Since 2013, IWC has been a partner of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One team. Last May, both parties announced IWC’s first watch for the Mercedes-AMG F1 team. Powered by IWC’s automatic 69385 calibre, the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Edition “Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team” watch is housed in a 41mm titanium case and features striking accents in the racing team’s Petronas green.

Speeding ahead

Tag Heuer and Porsche unveil their sixth co-creation since the beginning of their partnership in 2021. Distinguished by orange accents inspired by heat sparks made by a race car on asphalt, the Tag Heuer Chronograph x Porsche Orange Racing is powered by the in-house Calibre Heuer 02. The timepiece is housed in a 44mm black DLC steel case.

Facets of time

Hublot’s partnership with well-known tattoo artist Maxine Plescia-Buchi — the founder of the studio Sang Bleu — has yielded several successful timepieces bearing the latter’s geometric aesthetic style. The Big Bang Sang Bleu II Titanium White Pavé further ups the shine of a 45mm polished titanium case with a total of 172 diamonds.

Fast and furious

The timepieces emerging from the collaboration between Roger Dubuis and Lamborghini boldly show the DNA of both brands with elaborate skeletonisation that integrates elements inspired by the latter’s supercars. Distinguished by baby blue and red accents, the Excalibur Spider Huracan Black DLC Titanium comes in a 45mm titanium case and is powered by the self-winding RD630 movement.

Clear winner

A far-out De Bethune icon gets an even more futuristic update, and it was apparently because American record producer Swiss Beatz challenged the team to make a totally different version of it. In the Dream Watch 5 Tourbillon “Season 1”, the spaceship-like form of the timepiece is encased in blue sapphire crystal — an achievement requiring the integration of seven differently shaped sapphire parts into the watch’s titanium frame.

Bunny business

A collaboration between Franck Muller and Japanese streetwear label Fxxking Rabbits (also known as #FR2) has resulted in one of our favourite Vanguard models to date. Done in a sharp black and white palette, the #FR2NCK MULLER Vanguard features a case made of a new carbon and glass fibre composite. The #FR2 signature motif — a pair of randy rabbits — lights up in the dark.
