MCM’s AW25 Collection: An Intergalactic Celebration Lands in KL

From Munich to Mars…and furry friends.

In a world where fashion meets futuristic fantasy, MCM continues to blur the lines between luxury, lifestyle, and innovation with its latest Autumn/Winter 2025 showcase. Taking over the chic urban setting of If Only café in Kuala Lumpur, the German heritage house unveiled an experiential universe that celebrated its iconic DNA—this time, with an unexpected twist: furry friends in tow.

Titled From Munich to Mars, the immersive installation was a portal into world-class presentation, featuring esteemed guests: Mawar Rashid, Han Byul, Sam Wong, Yaya Zahir, Candy Teoh, and Ashley Chin, who were among the cyber-galactic voyagers who descended in style, joined by their beloved pets. It was a generous milestone, echoing MCM’s ethos of mobility, individuality, and companionship.

A Furry-Cosmic, Yet Spirited MCM AW25 Collection to Behold

The campaign, now in its third iteration, reimagines the jet-set spirit for a new era—an era where nomads navigate digital and physical realms seamlessly, often with a furry sidekick in hand (or paw). Designed for these mavericks on the move, the AW25 collection introduces three chapters that explore space-age silhouettes and reworked classics through progressive materials, bold textures, and a rich palette drawn from land, sea, and stars.

Nugget with the MCM’s signature Visetos in cosmic blue

First to launch: a striking reinvention of MCM’s signature Visetos, in a cosmic blue, paired with denim and metallic finishes that channel deep-sea depths and an overlay of celestial shimmer. The Aren Multi-Backpack and bold weekender silhouettes feel as ready for Mars as they are for the metropolis.

Moving forward with its chapter two, MCM’s profound collection turns towards a grounded perspective of aesthetics, with earthy hues and a sustainable soul. Mossy greens and neutral tones dress timeless styles like the Ella Boston, Stark Backpack, and reimagined Gym Backpack—now fashioned from upcycled leather, recycled nylon, and eco-suede. A standout is the 3D Diamant bag, now reissued in a herringbone pattern with taupe and burgundy detailing.

Beyond bags, the afternoon highlighted a whimsical nod to four-legged companions with pet-friendly experiences: gourmet treats, playful accessories, and bespoke photography moments that brought the collection’s charm full circle.

In a world where boundaries continue to blur, MCM’s voyage from Munich to Mars isn’t just a campaign—it’s a way of life. The Autumn/Winter 2025 collection is now available at all MCM boutiques across Kuala Lumpur and online at www.mcmworldwide.com.
