Longines Expands Conquest Heritage Line With Elegant New Models

The range now includes 38mm and 40mm editions.

Longines continues to honour its distinguished legacy with the latest additions to its Conquest Heritage collection. First trademarked in 1954, Conquest was a pioneering step for Longines, marking the brand’s move towards curated collections.

Now, more than 70 years later, the new Conquest Heritage models remain true to this heritage, with subtly updated aesthetics and modern horological advancements tailored for the contemporary collector.

Refined Forms

Offered in 38mm and 40mm case sizes, the new timepieces feature domed sunray dials in a rich palette of tones — including blue, green, brown, silver, and black — paired with faceted applied indexes in rhodium-plated, rose-gold-coloured, or yellow-gold-coloured finishes. The matching hands are treated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring clarity and legibility in all lighting conditions.

A standout detail is the 18K yellow-gold medallion set into the case back — hand-enamelled and engraved with a fish motif. This detail is a direct nod to the original Conquest models of the 1950s, where such medallions denoted not only water resistance but also Longines’ spirit of precision and adventure.

Built For Precision

Inside, the watches are powered by the exclusive Longines calibre L888.5 — a self-winding mechanical movement with a silicon balance spring and non-magnetic components, offering significantly enhanced resistance to magnetic fields and a 72-hour power reserve.

Water resistant to 5 bar (50 metres), the models are available on either a stainless-steel bracelet with micro-adjustable folding clasp or a leather strap with heritage-style steel pin buckle.

These refined new entries to the Conquest Heritage family effortlessly blend mid-century elegance with modern reliability, affirming Longines’ reputation for timeless design and technical mastery.

With carefully balanced proportions and unisex appeal, they are a testament to the brand’s enduring ethos, emphasising that elegance is an attitude.
