Dior’s New Beachwear Collection Reminds us of Better Days Ahead

Tired of being stuck indoors? Dior’s new capsule collection is one that will ignite your wanderlust and have you looking forward to better days that are soon to come.

First debuted in 2018, the Dioriviera summer capsule returns with joy-inducing fashion and lifestyle pieces designed by artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri that will make you long for the beach life. That being said, you don’t actually need to be at the beach to wear this collection. Metaphorically, it is an invitation to escape. The pop of colours used throughout, such as chartreuse and raspberry, on the clothes, accessories, and leather goods evoke warmth and happiness. Meanwhile, the House codes such as the Dior Oblique motif and the Toile de Jouy give the collection a luxurious and elevated touch.

Matching summery essentials and decorative objects by Dior Maison also complement this dolce vita Dioriviera lifestyle. Items include a sun lounger, beach rackets and balls, terry cotton cushions, skateboards, and surfboard.  There is even a customisable scooter – the Vespa 946 Christian Dior – designed by the House in collaboration with the storied Italian scooter brand along with a helmet and a top case embellished with the Dior Oblique motif. How chic!

The collection is available for viewing and purchase at all Dior Malaysia boutiques across the country.
