Tennis has long influenced fashion beyond the court, from crisp white separates and classic polo shirts to tailored silhouettes that combine sporting heritage with everyday sophistication. With the arrival of the BOSS x Australian Open collection in Malaysia, that relationship takes on a contemporary direction.
Previewed at an Australian-inspired brunch in Kuala Lumpur recently, the collection marks BOSS’s partnership with the Australian Open as its official lifestyle outfitter for the 2027 tournament. The event offered a first look at a wardrobe that draws on the visual language of tennis while embracing the relaxed sensibilities of modern city dressing.
From Centre Court To City Streets

Rather than focusing exclusively on performance wear, the BOSS x Australian Open capsule explores the increasingly fluid boundaries between sportswear and contemporary fashion.
The collection brings together lightweight tailoring, bomber jackets, windbreakers, knitted polos, T-shirts, shorts and dresses, with silhouettes that reference traditional tennis attire without being confined to it.
Chambray-blue pinstripes, classic tennis whites and understated earthy tones establish a palette that feels both sporty and sophisticated. Tennis-inspired knit dresses, tailored shorts and technical outerwear introduce a more relaxed dimension, while subtle tournament graphics and co-branded details provide a connection to the Australian Open.
For Malaysia’s tropical climate, the emphasis on lightweight fabrics and versatile separates makes the collection particularly relevant. The pieces are designed to move between casual occasions, travel and everyday urban life, reflecting a broader shift towards wardrobes that prioritise comfort without abandoning structure or style.
A New Look For The Australian Open

Beyond the lifestyle collection, BOSS will also outfit Australian Open personnel, including umpires, ballkids and tournament staff.
The official umpire ensemble offers a particularly interesting interpretation of traditional tennis dressing. Rendered in soft beige tones, it combines a long-sleeved polo with tailored trousers and a matching Panama hat, bringing a more considered aesthetic to the familiar courtside uniform.
Selected replica teamwear pieces will also be available to consumers, extending the tournament’s visual identity into everyday wardrobes.
The collaboration reflects how major sporting events have become increasingly influential platforms for fashion, with partnerships extending well beyond conventional sponsorship into design, lifestyle and cultural expression.
For BOSS, the Australian Open provides another setting in which to explore the intersection of tailoring, performance influences and contemporary dressing.
Where To Find The Collection In Malaysia
The BOSS x Australian Open collection will be available at selected BOSS stores across Malaysia from 19 November 2026.
Dedicated pop-ups will also introduce the collection at Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 1, East Zone Passenger Level, from 12 November 2026 to 1 January 2027, followed by Suria KLCC from 4 to 31 January 2027.
With the Australian Open 2027 approaching, the collection offers a reminder that tennis’s influence on fashion extends far beyond the final match point.
