Bell & Ross added a new addition to its LUM line in the form of the BR03-92 Grey LUM, a square case timepiece that embodies the spirit of instrument watches.
Much like its other timepieces, this new reference bear’s the brand’s DNA with a contemporary style that features the brand’s “circle in a square” design that evokes the silhouette of an aeroplane’s cockpit clock.
The design of its dial is uncompromising with a very masculine aesthetic that comes from its satin-polished steel case which lends the piece a bold, urban sport-chic look.
Extremely elegant, the anthracite grey dial with sunray pattern captures the
light and plays with its reflections. Despite its fancy looks, the BR03-92 Grey LUM is also a very durable watch with a water-resistance of 100 metres.
If you are not familiar with the line, Bell & Ross originally launched its LUM line in 2017. Since then it has unveiled other new models, all of which have the suffix “LUM” in their name to denote its “lumière†(light) properties and unfaltering legibility.
As part of the LUM collection, the BR03-92 Grey LUM boasts optimal legibility thanks to its Super-LumiNova C3 treated numerals, indices and hands that make it legible regardless of the time of day. Reminiscent of the historic matte colour of vintage tritium military watches, Super-LumiNova C3 does not deteriorate over time and maintains a constant daytime colour.
Fitted with a grey-green velvet calfskin strap, it aptly reflects the green colours of the Super-LumiNova C3 treatment. The strap itself is made from an ultra-resilient fabric and it is held secure by black Velcro.
Inside you will find the BR03-92 Grey LUM is driven by a Calibre BR-CAL.302 Swiss movement with automatic winding, providing the piece with all the precision and robustness one would come to expect of a high quality yet durable timepiece.
According to Bell & Ross’ website, the BRY 03-92 Grey LUM carries a retail price of MYR13,600.
