Giorgio Armani is celebrating two decades of his haute couture line with a landmark exhibition in his hometown. Fans of the designer will want to check out Giorgio Armani Privé 2005–2025, opening at Armani/Silos in Milan this spring. This is the first time pieces from the Giorgio Armani Privé collection — traditionally unveiled in Paris — will be on public display in the fashion house’s home city.
Opening to the public on May 21, following a private inauguration on May 20, the exhibition offers a rare glimpse into the evolution of Armani’s couture vision over the past 20 years. Around 150 garments will be presented throughout the entire Armani/Silos space, tracing an evocative narrative of modern elegance, innovation, and craftsmanship.
Personally curated by the designer himself, the exhibition showcases the essence of the Privé line — refined silhouettes, precious materials, and exquisite hand-finished details. Each piece reflects the designer’s continuous exploration of purity in form and his deep respect for artisanal technique. From delicately embroidered evening gowns to structured, architectural ensembles, the display highlights how Armani has redefined couture for the contemporary woman.
Since its debut in 2005, the line has become synonymous with understated luxury and timeless sophistication, frequently gracing red carpets and elite events around the world. The exhibition not only celebrates the brand’s rich heritage but also affirms Armani’s enduring influence on global fashion.
Giorgio Armani Privé 2005–2025 will remain open through the end of the year, offering fashion enthusiasts, design students, and the general public an extraordinary opportunity to experience the artistry of haute couture up close. Tickets will be available starting 7 May.
