Hyatt Kuala Lumpur Serves Up A Taste Of Nostalgia With Dine With Chef 2025

Local legends and international culinary stars come together to celebrate flavour and innovation.

Culinary storytelling takes centre stage this May as Dine With Chef 2025 returns to Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, reimagining cherished flavours through the lens of cutting-edge gastronomy. Under the theme Newstalgia: Memories Reinvented, the month-long series bridges the past and future with bold reinterpretations of familiar tastes, crafted by top local and international chefs.

A highlight of Kuala Lumpur’s dining calendar, this year’s edition expands across the city’s Hyatt properties, including Hyatt Centric City Centre, the soon-to-open Park Hyatt, and Hyatt Regency KL Midtown. Led by Executive Chef Grzegorz Odolak of Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, the culinary program features exclusive chef collaborations, one-night-only tasting menus, and immersive dining experiences designed to stir both memory and imagination.

Each dish reflects personal heritage and global technique — from elegant reinterpretations of Nyonya cuisine by Malaysian food icon Chef Florence Tan and private dining specialist Nyonya Su Pei, to the experimental South Asian narratives of Singapore’s Chef Raj Kumar of Firangi Superstar.

The event also honors Polish culinary history in collaboration with the Embassy of Poland, featuring celebrated chefs Mariusz Olechno, Marcin Budynek, and Paweł Mieszała, marking the 234th anniversary of Poland’s Constitution with dishes that tell stories of resilience and tradition.

Dine With Chef 2025With venues ranging from the stylish THIRTY8 and POOLHOUSE to an intimate pop-up on Level 5, Dine With Chef 2025 promises guests a multisensory dining odyssey. From curated menus to chef interactions and bespoke pairings, the experience is designed to connect diners to their roots while inspiring a fresh perspective on familiar flavours.
