S P Setia Launches Balinese-Inspired Damaira Homes in Semenyih

Blending Balinese-inspired design with eco-conscious living, the low-density collection of luxury semi-detached homes is surrounded by greenery.

S P Setia has announced Damaira, a new collection of freehold double-storey semi-detached homes within the 209-acre Setia Mayuri township in Semenyih. Framed by the greenery of Broga’s rolling hills and conceived as a luxury eco-resort community, the enclave reflects a growing appetite for homes that privilege space, calm and connection to nature.

With a gross development value of RM87.93 million, Damaira comprises just 54 residences, reinforcing the township’s low-density philosophy. Homes sit on generous land parcels ranging from 40’ x 80’ to 49’ x 80’, with built-ups between 2,740 sq ft and 2,957 sq ft. Prices begin from RM1.47 million.

A Resort-Inspired Address Rooted in Nature

Drawing inspiration from Balinese tropical architecture, the homes are designed around openness and fluidity. Large glass panels invite natural light deep into the interiors, while side gardens, balconies and adaptable multi-purpose spaces encourage a more relaxed indoor-outdoor rhythm of living.

According to S P Setia Chief Operating Officer Datuk Yuslina Mohd Yunus, the development reflects the group’s wider placemaking philosophy centred on nature, thoughtful planning and enduring liveability.

At the heart of Setia Mayuri is Lamantara Park, a Balinese-inspired landscaped garden designed as the township’s green focal point. Together with manicured streetscapes and carefully planned open spaces, the environment evokes the atmosphere of a private tropical retreat rather than a conventional suburban neighbourhood.

Damaira itself is arranged within a guarded and gated setting, with only four to five homes per acre — an increasingly uncommon proposition within the Klang Valley growth corridor.

Contemporary Living With A Softer Pace

Beyond aesthetics, the development incorporates sustainability-led features aligned with Setia’s eGreenLiving initiative. Homes are designed with solar PV readiness, EV charging points, rainwater harvesting systems and energy-saving switches, supporting a lifestyle increasingly shaped by environmental awareness.

The township’s “green street” concept further enhances this vision. Utility cables are concealed underground, allowing for cleaner streetscapes alongside pedestrian walkways, cycling paths and landscaped green corridors that encourage a more community-oriented pace of life.

Lifestyle amenities are integrated both within Setia Mayuri and the wider surrounding area. Residents have access to recreational spaces such as Wau Park — a contemporary green inspired by the traditional wau kite — as well as jogging tracks, fitness zones and open lawns designed for everyday leisure.

Convenience, meanwhile, remains close at hand. Baris Place, located within the township, brings together cafés, restaurants, wellness operators and essential retailers, while nearby Setia EcoHill expands the lifestyle offering further with Club 360, an Olympic-length swimming pool, pickleball courts and wellness facilities.

Connectivity continues to underpin the township’s appeal. Setia Mayuri enjoys access to major highways including LEKAS, SKVE and the Cheras-Kajang Expressway, positioning it comfortably within the broader Semenyih-Kajang growth corridor while maintaining a quieter, more secluded residential atmosphere.

For buyers seeking a more bespoke residential expression, the township has also released a limited collection of bungalow land parcels near Lamantara Park, with lot sizes reaching up to 24,014 sq ft. In many ways, Damaira reflects a broader shift in contemporary suburban living — one where luxury is increasingly defined not by excess, but by privacy, greenery and the ability to slow down within thoughtfully designed surroundings.
