Loewe Crafted World Comes To Tokyo This March

Upcoming exhibition celebrates iconic designs and cultural collaborations.

First conceived as a travelling exhibition, Crafted World made its debut in Shanghai in 2024. In March 2025, Loewe will present Crafted World in Tokyo. Set to take place in the Harajuku district, the showcase is a notable one for both the brand and the country as Japan represents the first country Loewe expanded to beyond Europe with the opening of a dedicated space back in 1973.

It chronicles how the brand went from a leather-making collective founded in Madrid in 1846 to one of the world’s leading luxury fashion houses. Steeped in art and culture, Crafted World is a story dedicated to the joy of making things by hand.

In Japan, the exhibition transports audiences from the sights and sounds of Spain, to the front row of the Paris runway. Additionally, through a series of interactive rooms, visitors will also be treated to visionary inspirations from Loewe’s recent collections. This includes those of Studio Ghibli and the Kyoto-based ceramics studio Suna Fujita.
