British designer Kim Jones OBE will open the first global flagship of his new KIM JONES label in Hong Kong in 2027, choosing Henderson Land’s Central Yards development for a 4,000-square-foot retail space overlooking Victoria Harbour.
The two-level boutique will occupy one of five duplex concept maisons within the development’s first retail phase. The space will feature open terraces, internal staircases and indoor-outdoor entrances, providing a setting for Jones to explore the relationship between fashion, art and architecture.

“Hong Kong is a city I know well, and opening our first flagship at Central Yards gives us an opportunity to explore those ideas in a new context,” Jones said. “I’m looking forward to developing a space that reflects the identity of the label and how I want it to evolve.”
The announcement marks the first retail anchor confirmed for Central Yards, Henderson Land’s major mixed-use development along Hong Kong’s harbourfront. The first phase is scheduled to open in 2027, with approximately 300,000 square feet of retail space bringing together around 100 brands and concepts spanning fashion, lifestyle and dining.

Designed by architecture studio AL_A, the retail environment will incorporate open-air boulevards, sky gardens and a promenade-led layout intended to connect Central’s neighbourhoods with the waterfront. The wider development is planned to include cultural programming, public spaces and performance venues, with a second phase scheduled for 2032.
For Jones, whose work has often explored the intersections of fashion, art and culture, the flagship offers an opportunity to establish the identity of his new label in a city he already knows. Its opening in 2027 will also place KIM JONES among the first wave of brands at a development seeking to strengthen Hong Kong’s connection between luxury retail, design and the arts.
