Malaysia’s appetite for SUVs continues to grow, but today’s buyers are looking beyond size and performance alone. Connectivity, comfort and design have become just as important as capability, particularly for drivers seeking a vehicle that seamlessly transitions between weekday commutes and weekend getaways.

It is a shift that JETOUR hopes to capture with the launch of the all-new T1, a contemporary urban SUV developed around the brand’s Travel+ philosophy. Positioned as a lifestyle-focused model, the T1 combines modern styling, intelligent technology and everyday practicality in a package designed for families, professionals and frequent travellers alike.
“The introduction of the JETOUR T1 marks another important step in JETOUR Malaysia’s long-term growth strategy,” says Nicholas Ng, Vice President of JETOUR Auto Malaysia. “Customers are seeking vehicles that combine sophisticated design, intelligent technologies and everyday practicality, and the T1 has been developed to address these expectations.”
Designed For Everyday Living

With its sculpted bodywork, Storm-Eye LED headlamps and confident stance, the T1 adopts a contemporary interpretation of the modern SUV. Built on a monocoque platform with a 2,800mm wheelbase, it prioritises ride comfort and interior space while maintaining proportions suited to urban environments.

Inside, the emphasis is equally practical. A digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 50W wireless charging pad, ambient lighting and ventilated front seats come as standard, creating a cabin designed around convenience and connectivity rather than complexity.
The range is offered in two variants. The 1.5-litre turbocharged model delivers 170PS through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the flagship 2.0-litre turbocharged XWD variant produces 245PS and features an intelligent all-wheel-drive system for greater confidence across varying road conditions.
Technology And Long-Term Value

Safety remains central to the T1’s proposition, with both variants equipped with six airbags, Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a panoramic view camera and an ASEAN NCAP five-star safety rating.
Priced from RM129,800, the T1 also comes with a seven-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty, a 10-year or one-million-kilometre powertrain warranty, and five complimentary maintenance services—reinforcing JETOUR’s confidence in the model and its long-term commitment to the Malaysian market.

As competition within Malaysia’s SUV segment intensifies, the T1 reflects how the category continues to evolve. No longer defined solely by rugged capability, today’s urban SUVs are increasingly expected to deliver refined design, connected technology and versatility in equal measure—and JETOUR’s latest arrival aims to meet those expectations head-on.
