Jameson Distilled Sounds Malaysia 2026 returns with its most collaborative chapter yet. Led by Jameson Irish Whiskey’s global music platform, the programme expands into a nationwide tour shaped by original music and live performance. This year, the programme expands into a nationwide tour shaped by original music and live performance. More importantly, it moves beyond the stage. It introduces five newly commissioned tracks created through Malaysian artist collaborations.
Running from 8 May to 13 June 2026, the series unfolds across multiple venues. Each stop brings audiences closer to the music. At the same time, the journey builds towards a final showcase in Kuala Lumpur.
Five Original Tracks, Shaped By Collaboration

At the centre of the programme are five original tracks. Each one reflects the chemistry between artists working across genres.
First, Mister Two Five and Murty set the tone with ‘Sweetside’. The track blends indie pop with hip hop in a smooth and easy rhythm. Meanwhile, Laura Munan and Zekke take a softer approach with ‘Silk’. Here, slow R&B and minimal production create an intimate mood.
Next, ‘Fall Away’ shifts the energy. Lang and JAIE introduce a lighter indie pop sound with bright hooks and a steady flow. In contrast, Su San and Jeantonic explore darker textures in ‘Never Quite Like You’. The track carries a subtle dance edge, adding movement without losing depth.
Finally, ‘Think Too Much’ by Jo Lixian and Q Sound closes the series. It blends R&B with jazz influences, while warm brass tones shape a relaxed groove.
Where Music Meets The Social Scene

The tour takes place across Kuala Lumpur’s nightlife circuit. Each venue plays a role in shaping the experience. From Lot.TwentyTwo to Jao Tim, the spaces remain intentionally intimate. As a result, the focus stays on the music.
At the same time, the setting encourages movement between performance and conversation. Alongside the sets, signature Jameson Ginger and Lime cocktails are served. This detail adds a familiar social layer to the night. However, it never distracts from the music itself.
8 May 2026 — Lot.TwentyTwo featuring Lang and JAIE with Crinkle Cut
15 May 2026 — Luna Bistro featuring Jo Lixian with Skipper
22 May 2026 — Yue by Shill 90s featuring Laura Munan with Soft Soft Pillow
30 May 2026 — Asap by Lye featuring Mister Two Five and Murty with TY:DEL
5 June 2026 — Jao Tim featuring Su San and Jeantonic with Mumbo Jumbo
Overall, each stop centres on discovery. It brings emerging Malaysian artists into focus. At the same time, it keeps the atmosphere relaxed and unforced.
The Finale In Kuala Lumpur

The tour concludes on 13 June 2026 at Voxlive KL. Here, all five artists return for headline sets. Afterwards, they reunite for a closing performance. Saint Kylo leads the finale, bringing his international experience back to the local stage.
In the lead up, a digital series offers additional context. It captures studio sessions, conversations, and creative exchanges. As a result, audiences gain a deeper look into how each track was formed.
An Evolving Cultural Format

With this expanded format, Jameson Distilled Sounds Malaysia 2026 evolves further. It is no longer just a music platform. Instead, it becomes a lifestyle experience shaped by sound and setting.
By pairing original music with carefully chosen venues, the programme creates a cohesive rhythm. As the tour moves from one stop to another, that rhythm remains consistent. Collaboration shapes the sound. Meanwhile, the experience extends beyond the stage. It continues through conversation, connection, and the shared energy of the room.
