Bentley introduces its most technically advanced in-car sound system to date: Naim for Mulliner, debuting within the new Virtuoso Collection. Originally developed for the coachbuilt Bentley Batur, the system has been further refined to deliver an uncompromising listening experience across the marque’s core models.
Available in the Bentley Continental GT, Bentley Continental GTC and Bentley Bentayga, the system represents the culmination of more than 10,000 hours of development in partnership with Naim Audio.
Precision Engineering, Elevated

At the core of Naim for Mulliner is an 18-speaker configuration, enhanced by two upgraded driver units derived from Batur. These introduce greater cone excursion and improved frequency response, enabling more precise articulation across both low and high ranges without compromising detail.
The system’s speaker technology draws from flagship home audio design, incorporating hand-wound driver units inspired by Focal’s Grand Utopia range.

Featuring patented ‘M’-profile cones, these components achieve an optimal balance of rigidity, lightness and damping—resulting in low distortion, controlled dispersion and a highly linear frequency response.
The tweeters, constructed from aluminium-magnesium cones, are engineered for wide-angle diffusion—critical in an in-car environment—delivering a refined, balanced treble even for off-axis listeners. Meanwhile, the midrange has been meticulously tuned to ensure seamless integration between bass and high frequencies, preserving tonal coherence and spatial accuracy.
Immersive Sound, Precisely Controlled

Working alongside Dolby Laboratories, Bentley integrates Dolby Atmos to introduce true three-dimensional sound. This allows audio to move freely throughout the cabin, creating a layered and immersive listening experience that places occupants within the music itself.
To further refine spatial performance, Bentley’s engineers employed Fraunhofer Symphoria, an advanced rendering technology that enhances the perception of width, depth and positioning within the soundstage. The result is a consistent and precisely balanced audio field across all seating positions.

Acoustic optimisation extends beyond hardware. Revised speaker grilles deliver a 26 per cent increase in acoustic transparency, reducing interference and allowing sound to pass more cleanly into the cabin. Strategically placed Dinamica inserts within the doors absorb unwanted vibrations and frequencies, ensuring clarity is preserved even at higher volumes.
A System Designed Around Experience

The Virtuoso Collection contextualises this technical achievement within a broader design narrative, but it is the audio system that remains its defining feature. Every element—from material selection to speaker architecture—has been engineered to enhance fidelity, immersion and control.
In Naim for Mulliner, Bentley shifts the role of in-car audio from enhancement to centrepiece—transforming the cabin into a precisely tuned listening environment defined by depth, balance and extraordinary detail.
