Malaysia’s role as a regional hub for wellness tourism has taken a decisive step forward with the launch of REN Wellness Retreat. The next-generation health destination, developed by ERMS Berhad under IJM Land’s wellness roadmap, blends Traditional and Complementary Medicine (T&CM) with contemporary clinical care.
Situated beside Subang Ria Lake and within walking distance of Subang Jaya Medical Centre, the wellness space presents a holistic model for prevention, recovery, and long-term wellbeing. At its recent soft launch, a Memorandum of Agreement between REN Wellness Retreat and the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM) was inked to establish an academic and research collaboration.

Guided by the 9 Body Constitution Profiling System, the retreat offers personalised programmes that integrate diagnostics, treatment, and lifestyle management. Facilities include a Traditional Chinese Medicine Centre, nursing and rehabilitation services, psychology and counselling clinics, as well as fitness and nutrition programmes.
The REN Resort, which anchors the experience in hospitality and restorative design, combines accessibility with tranquillity. Contemporary architecture, natural materials, and a muted interior palette create a serene environment that reflects the retreat’s focus on balance and renewal.
