From juicy, bone-marrow-packed burgers to inventive libations

Having started as Patties & Dough—a pop-up you may have spotted around town—Chef Moe and his partner Min have long proven their mastery over juicy, crave-worthy burgers. Now, their latest venture, Hot Buns & Co., elevates that craft further, adding an unexpected but delightful twist: cocktails.

Located in Bangsar’s multi-sensory leisure hub APW (A Place Where), Hot Buns & Co. pairs its gourmet burgers with diner-themed cocktails designed to complement and elevate every bite.

Cocktails That Surprise

Choices range from the gin-based Xiao Long Nü and citrusy Garibaldi (a classic New York Sour) to the savory, Southeast Asian-inspired Kiam Hu Mary, featuring a subtle essence of salted fish, and the sparkling Italian Sbagliato, a lighter Negroni variation. These inventive drinks prove that a well-matched cocktail can transform your burger experience.

Small Plates And Burgers

Crispy Chilli Oil Burrata balances gentle heat and sweetness against creamy cheese, atop toasted house sourdough. The Balsamic Glaze Burrata adds richness with honeyed acidity, pistachio crunch, and Maldon salt—perfect to set the tone for your meal.

Burger lovers are spoilt for choice with the BMO (Bone Marrow & Onion) – a decadent creation with double Hereford beef patties, bone marrow butter, confit garlic, roasted herbs, cheese, and pickles, all enveloped in soft, airy three-grain buns.

For those craving spice, the Creamy Jalapeño Burger features juicy beef topped with cream cheese, diced jalapeños, and onion-raspberry beef bacon jam—a fiery yet creamy delight. Diners who want it simple, the Chicken Burger featuring a buttermilk-brined cutlet, fresh coleslaw, and a balanced house sauce should more than suffice.

Dishes That Shines

For sides, opt for Triple-Cooked Fries with aromatic kulim dip, and Deep-Fried Corn Ribs finished with parmesan and lime. Each provide the perfect accompaniment to your burger or main course.

For other main options, the Mala Lamb Ribs deliver tender, spicy Sichuan-flavored meat, while the Australian Wagyu Hanger Steak offers rich marbling and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness, proving Hot Buns & Co. satisfies any craving.

At Hot Buns & Co., pairing gourmet burgers with cocktails isn’t just a gimmick—it’s a playful, sophisticated journey of flavours, all set within a vibrant, lively Bangsar space.
