Customised instant noodles at the Ramyeon Library at Korean Air’s Prestige Lounge, Incheon Airport.
At Incheon International Airport, Korean Air has transformed the traditional waiting experience into something a little more playful. Its newly renovated Prestige East (Left) Lounge, which officially opens today, spans 1,553 square metres and features 192 seats, blending the elegance of a luxury hotel with the convenience travellers expect at a major international hub.
But what really catches the eye — and appetite — is the airport lounge’s Ramyeon Library. Inspired by the global fascination with K-Food, this self-service station allows passengers to create their own customised instant noodles. Guests can choose from different noodle types and toppings, then cook them instantly at automated machines. It’s the kind of experience that turns a brief airport stop into a memorable part of the journey.
IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE

The lounge also offers other interactive spaces, like Cooking Studio L’atelier, where travellers can join hands-on classes led by chefs from the Grand Hyatt Incheon, and an Arcade Room with air hockey, claw machines, and racing games that appeal to families and younger passengers. Beyond entertainment, the lounge provides practical comforts: buffet and live cooking stations, bars, dining areas, shower facilities, and quiet work zones.

Digital features make the experience even smoother. Passengers can reserve lounge access through the Korean Air website or app, while real-time crowd monitoring and mobile queuing systems help avoid busy periods. For frequent flyers, priority entry is retained for First and Prestige Class passengers, as well as SkyTeam Elite Plus members.
ALL PART OF A BIGGER PLAN

The new lounge is part of a larger expansion at Terminal 2 ahead of Korean Air’s integration with Asiana Airlines. Once all renovations are complete, the airline’s lounge space will more than double, increasing from 5,105 to 12,270 square metres, with seating capacity growing from 898 to 1,566.
For travellers looking to turn layovers into mini experiences, the Prestige Lounge offers a glimpse of something different — a place where you can enjoy a freshly cooked bowl of ramyeon, try your hand at a chocolate-making class, or even win a stuffed toy in the arcade, all before you board your flight.
