The stakes were no doubt race as the thrilling finale to the 2025 Formula 1 took place at Abu Dhabi this past weekend. With three drivers in contention to be crowned World Champion, it delivered a climatic ending to an eventful season of racing.
Adding to the prestige of the race, Louis Vuitton added its own dramatic flourish to the final Grand Prix of the 2025 F1 season in Abu Dhabi, unveiling all 24 of its bespoke Trophy Trunks directly on the starting grid.
The display – the first of its kind – set the stage for an unforgettable conclusion to the year, crowned by Max Verstappen’s victory at the FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX 2025.
A ‘V’ For Victory
For the season finale at Yas Marina Circuit, Louis Vuitton assembled the complete collection of its 2025 F1 Trophy Trunks, each handcrafted for one of the year’s Grands Prix. Arranged in a striking V formation, symbolising both Victory and Vuitton, the installation transformed the grid into a celebration of precision, heritage and sporting excellence.
The trunks were positioned in chronological order, beginning with the FORMULA 1 LOUIS VUITTON AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2025 and progressing through the calendar to the FORMULA 1 QATAR AIRWAYS BRITISH GRAND PRIX 2025 and the FORMULA 1 MOËT & CHANDON BELGIAN GRAND PRIX 2025. Taking pride of place at the forefront was the Trophy Trunk for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – the final chapter of the season.
Craftsmanship Meets Competition
Presented at the heart of the grid, the scenography underscored Louis Vuitton’s commitment to Formula 1 since becoming an Official Partner in January 2025. The collection showcased the exceptional savoir-faire of the Maison’s artisans in Asnières, whose meticulous craftsmanship mirrors the precision and technical innovation of Formula 1 engineers.
Both worlds share the same philosophy: exacting standards, unwavering discipline, and the pursuit of excellence. It’s a vision perfectly encapsulated in the message: Victory travels with Louis Vuitton.
The Final Grand Prix Trophy
The showpiece moment arrived as Max Verstappen secured the final race win of the 2025 season for Red Bull Racing. His F1 trophy was presented in its bespoke Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk, appearing at key moments throughout the weekend – from the national anthem to its place among the full grid display, and finally on the podium during the winner’s ceremony.
Louis Vuitton also revealed exclusive bespoke signage around the Yas Marina Circuit, inspired by the speed, dynamism and raw energy of Formula 1 cars while reflecting the Maison’s performance-driven spirit.
As Verstappen celebrated his final race win of the year and with McLaren’s Lando Norris officially crowned the 2025 FIA Formula One World Drivers’ Champion, it marked a triumphant end to a season defined by innovation, competition and craftsmanship.
