In a bold move that blurs the lines between fine dining and fast food, Regent Hong Kong has teamed up with global comfort food icon Shake Shack to launch a world-exclusive foie gras burger. The playful, gourmet twist on the classic American staple will be available for one month only at The Lobby Lounge starting this November. Since the announcement, this first-of-its-kind collaboration is turning heads, appetites, and expectations and for good reason too.
Street Food Meets Silver Service
There’s something undeniably exciting about mixing the refined with the familiar and that’s exactly what’s on the menu here. The Foie Gras Shack takes Shake Shack’s beloved ShackBurger® and dials it up with ingredients worthy of a Michelin-starred kitchen. Think silky foie gras torchon, black truffle mayo, Gruyère cheese, crispy shallots, and caramelised onions all nestled in a fluffy potato bun. Add frisée and chives for a final fine-dining flourish.
It’s comfort food, redefined, perhaps the sort of burger you could eat in jeans, but just as fitting with a glass of champagne in hand.
For extra indulgence, a double Angus beef patty version ups the richness, while the sides don’t shy away from the spotlight either. The classic crinkle-cut fries have been transformed into Shack Caviar Fries, topped with crème fraîche bavarois, fresh chives and a pop of premium caviar. The result is a joyful mash-up of high and low seems perfect.
Burger, Bubbles And A View
Of course, the setting is just as important as the food. Served exclusively at The Lobby Lounge, this decadent comfort food moment is enjoyed against the cinematic backdrop of Victoria Harbour, recently rated a perfect 100/100 by The Most Perfect View Certified Program.
To elevate things even further, Regent is offering pours of Dom Pérignon White Luminous Vintage 2015 — glowing bottle and all — available by the glass (HK$398) or bottle (HK$2,280). It’s a celebration waiting to happen, whether you’re in for a quick bite or a drawn-out, indulgent lunch.
The menu is both luxe and laid back, but comes with the expected five-star price tag. Prices start from HK$195 (MYR105) for the Foie Gras Shack to HK$370 (MYR200) for the Foie Gras Shack + Shack Caviar Fries. Need additional spuds on the side? That will set you back HK$225 (MYR123) for the Shack Caviar Fries.

“This isn’t just a burger — it’s an experience,” says Jim Frisch, Shake Shack’s Senior Director of International Culinary. “It’s about taking the joy and familiarity of everyday comfort food and elevating it into something unexpected.”

The Foie Gras Shack is available from 12 November to 12 December 2025, only at Regent Hong Kong’s Lobby Lounge. On launch day, the first 100 guests to order the Foie Gras Shack will receive a limited-edition goodie bag designed by Regent and Shake Shack – an added piece of culinary memorabilia for an indulgent treat.
