Air France has brought its in-flight culinary experience to new heights—on land with an exclusive pop-up. From 25 June to 20 August 2025, the airline is putting together restaurant on the rooftop of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, inviting visitors to sample its long-haul Business Class menus in a striking open-air setting.
Perched on the eighth floor of the iconic department store, the exclusive venue offers panoramic views of the French capital, from the Eiffel Tower to Montmartre. The pop-up follows the airline’s successful debut restaurant at the Palais de Tokyo during last year’s Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Designed in Air France’s signature navy blue, white, and red, the rooftop space blends the refined atmosphere of the airline’s airport lounges with the elegance of a Parisian terrace. With just 20 seats available per service and two lunch services daily, the restaurant promises an intimate and luxurious dining experience.
Epicurean Delights
Guests can savour gourmet dishes curated by triple Michelin-starred chef Régis Marcon, known for his nature-inspired cuisine rooted in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The menu mirrors that served on board Air France’s long-haul Business Class, featuring options such as chicken with morel mushroom sauce, rice pilaf and green asparagus, or a Camargue rice trio with lemon, carrot and orange sauce.
Desserts are the work of Nina Métayer, crowned World’s Best Pastry Chef in 2023. Her creations—such as the crunchy hazelnut and caramel delight—offer a delicate balance of indulgence and sophistication.
Wine and champagne pairings have been hand-selected by Air France’s head sommelier Xavier Thuizat, also Head Sommelier at the prestigious Hôtel de Crillon and 2022’s Best Sommelier in France. A full range of non-alcoholic beverages is also available.
The meal is served on bespoke tableware designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, echoing the onboard presentation of Air France’s Business Class service.
The Air France pop-up restaurant is located at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, Coupole Store, 40 boulevard Haussmann, 75009 Paris. Open daily except Tuesdays from 11:30am to 3:30pm, bookings are essential. The set lunch menu, including drinks, is priced at €93.
