BMW Malaysia has unveiled the New BMW M340i xDrive M Sport Pro, a striking addition to its celebrated 3 Series lineup and the most powerful variant now assembled on Malaysian soil.
In honour of the 50th anniversary of the iconic BMW 3 Series, this high-performance saloon delivers a masterful blend of exhilarating dynamics, cutting-edge technology and unmistakable M identity — setting a new benchmark for locally assembled luxury performance vehicles.
Assembled at BMW Group Malaysia’s plant in Kulim, the BMW M340i xDrive M Sport Pro stands as a bold embodiment of motorsport DNA, meticulously designed for both performance and everyday versatility. “As we mark five decades of the BMW 3 Series, this model continues to represent the pinnacle of driver engagement,” explained Benjamin Nagel, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia.

Performance Meets Precision
Beneath the sculpted bonnet is a 3.0-litre BMW TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder engine, delivering an impressive 285 kW (387 hp) and 500 Nm of torque. Paired with an eight-speed Steptronic Sport Transmission and BMW’s intelligent xDrive all-wheel drive system, the sedan accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h.
Equipped with Adaptive M Suspension, M Sport Differential and Variable Sport Steering as standard, the vehicle ensures unmatched agility and control — creating a drive that is as responsive as it is refined. A suite of advanced driver assistance systems, including Driving Assistant and Parking Assistant Plus, provide enhanced safety, convenience and effortless manoeuvrability, whether on the open road or navigating tight city streets.
Visually, the BMW M340i xDrive M Sport Pro commands presence. At the front, the iconic kidney grille is flanked by Adaptive LED headlights with High Beam Assistant and accentuated by M Lights Shadowline. Bold contours, an M Aerodynamics package, and 19-inch M light alloy wheels underscore the car’s assertive stance, while dual exhaust tailpipes and an M rear spoiler complete its sporting silhouette.
Driver-Focused
Inside, the driver-centric cabin is a showcase of modern luxury and motorsport heritage. Premium Sensatec upholstery, galvanic controls, and aluminium Rhombicle Anthracite trim create an elevated tactile experience. The expansive BMW Curved Display, combining a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 14.9-inch control display, is powered by the intuitive BMW Operating System 8.5. The immersive Harman Kardon Surround Sound System with 16 speakers delivers concert-level clarity to every drive.
Customers can also personalise their M340i with a choice of four exterior colours — Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Arctic Race Blue, and M Brooklyn Grey — paired with either Tacora Red or Black Sensatec Perforated upholstery.
