Hyatt Hotels Is Expanding Its Footprint With New Hotels Slated To Open In 2025

The global luxury brand marks an ambitious growth strategy with openings across the region including Malaysia.

According to data from Savills, luxury demand is expected to surge over the next three years. The leading commercial, residential and rural real estate service provider reveals that from 2023 to 2028 the segment is forecasted to expand by over 50%. Like many global hospitality players, Hyatt Hotels is looking to capitalise on this growth with new properties opening throughout 2025.

The hospitality brand is in a prime position to further establish its footprint in the luxe segment. Presently about 70% of Hyatt’s rooms are categorised as luxury and upper upscale. However, Hyatt is looking to cement its status in the industry with new luxury and lifestyle hotels set to open in 2025 and 2026.

“Our future in these highly sought-after segments looks brighter than ever, thanks to recent acquisitions like Mr & Mrs Smith and Standard International, as well as our commitment to building dedicated teams and leveraging specialised talent to enhance our luxury and lifestyle offerings.”

Hyatt’s already impressive portfolio will expand significantly with over 50 luxury and lifestyle hotels expected to open globally over the next two years.
